MEET SUSAN

I am a print and pattern designer based in the UK, currently perusing a BA degree in Surface Pattern and Textile Design.
As a creative undergraduate my work focuses on the exploration of textiles, materiality, pattern and making in the contexts of fashion and interiors. Enthralled by the feeling of escapism that art and being creative grants me, I combine traditional practical skills with digital processes.

Other than creating art, my main hobby revolves around spending time with my dog, who brings opportunities for long country walks in the fields surrounding my town in the Cotswolds, where I experience nature and my surroundings in the revolving seasons.
Finding pleasure in small everyday moments and an appreciation for the natural world around me, is what truly inspires my work.
